  2.  ATARI CANADA RELEASES MAX2PORT - Press Release

  4.  Atari Canada has just announced the release of the program MAX2PORT for
  5.  use with the Atari Portfolio computer.  The utility MAX2PORT allows any
  6.  any Maximizer user to convert and export CLIENT.DAT files into a new
  7.  file that will work with the Portfolio's built in Address Book.  Thru
  8.  the unique and powerful export features of Maximizer, users are now able
  9.  to take important client information (name, address, phone number)
  10.  stored on the one pound Portfolio, into the field for quickand easy
  11.  reference.  Because the Maximizer allows for very distinct files by
  12.  date, description or database it is possible for a Portfolio user to
  13.  have several Address files for hot prospects, personal contacts,
  14.  qualified leads, or contacts by date for example.  Also of interest to
  15.  many Maximizer users will be the Portfolio's built in word processor,
  16.  Lotus compatable spreadsheet, diary and powerful calculator.  The word
  17.  processor imports ASCII files for almost any MS-Dos word processor
  18.  (Maximizer, Word Perfect, Word, ect).  The program will be distributed
  19.  free of charge by participating authorized Portfolio dealers across
  20.  Canada, an optional copying fee may be charged by some dealers.  MAXPORT
  21.  was written by Murray Brown (Western Canada Sales Rep. Atari Canada) and
  22.  is released as freeware.

  31.  This is a list of the files on the DOS UTILITIES CARD from ATARI CORP.
  32.  They are very useful for writing batch files or using alone.  Makes
  33.  life at the DOS level a little easier.

  35.  ANSI     screen driver for Portfolio
  36.  ASK      displays a prompt, clrs the kbd buffer then wait for a keypress
  37.  ATTRIB   displays or sets the attributes of files
  38.  BEEP     generate tones for a period of time
  39.  CMDEDIT  buffers mand history which you can edit
  40.  DIF      compares text between two files.
  41.  DSKCHK   checks the disk's structure for corrupted clusters
  42.  FIND     searches each file for specified text
  43.  FM       File Manager DOS shell
  44.  FREEDSK  displays the amount of free space and returns ERRORLEVEL
  45.  FREEMEM  Amount of free space in the largest block of memory.
  46.  KSIM     provides keypress to the O.S. from an object file from KSIMCOMP
